Cappuccino

The most popular coffee drink, which urges many of us to buy a Nescafé® Dolce Gusto® coffee machine in the first place. Cappuccino (from Italian cappuccino - capuchin) is an Italian coffee drink based on espresso with the addition of heated frothed milk. The origin of the name is due to the fact that in Europe of the 17th century the name of the Capuchin Order served, in particular, to designate the characteristic color (red-brown) that the cassocks of the monks of this order had; in the XVIII century, they also began to call a coffee drink made from egg yolks and cream, which began to be prepared in Austria (German: Kapuziner). The Italian form of the name of the drink (cappuccino) established only in the 20th century. In the 19th century, Padre Carlo invented the first cappuccino machine, where water was heated in one compartment producing steam, and pushing it through a tube to the second compartment, where milk was foamed.
