The countryside of the Iblei Mountains presents a multifaceted scenario of nature and colors where the cultivation of olive trees constitutes one of the most widespread agricultural landscapes. Here the most prized varieties of olives in Sicily are grown. From the famous Tonda Iblea, a high quality extra virgin olive oil is obtained with a green color and a fresh scent, with evident notes of tomato and freshly mown wet grass. It is medium fruity with persistent herbaceous notes and a spicy aftertaste that leaves a perfect balance in the mouth. Suitable for boiled and grilled vegetables, legumes and roast meats.
